❖  What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga is an ancient technology, known as the yoga of Self Awareness, is an uplifting blend of spiritual & physical practices, incorporating physical movements and postures, pranayama (dynamic breathing techniques), mudras (hand positions), bandhas (body locks), meditation and sound (chanting mantras). Kundalini Yoga helps us to work through and release any emotional blocks, stress and past trauma that is stored in our bodies. A total workout for body, mind and spirit, Kundalini Yoga works by freeing the flow of energy through the chakras (energy centres).

Kundalini session can produce powerful and dramatic results very quickly. It lifts your energy, aligning your whole being so you become more awake, aware, happy and vibrantly healthy.

❖  Level: Open to All Levels, including Beginners

❖  About the class:
The group is small, allowing personal attention and connection with like-minded people.
We start with warm ups, gradually moving to a kriya (various body movements/postures, incorporating pranayama (breathing techniques), hand positions (mudras), body locks (bandhas) and mantras), then allowing the body to integrate & consolidate the energy generated during the exercises by going into a deep relaxation with sound healing and finishing the class with Meditation.
Every class has the same structure but a different theme, allowing us to work on various challenges and gradually balance body, mind and soul.

Please wear loose comfortable (preferably) white clothing (white combines all colours and enhances the magnetic field and auric strength hence allowing healing to be transmitted in the best optimum way). You may wish to wear layers as your body temperature will likely change during practice, warming during the more active phases and cooling during the restful phases.
Please bring a bottle of water, a blanket/shawl to cover yourself during the relaxation.
Yoga mats and cushions are provided.
