Callan
Callan hails from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. With a lifelong passion for movement, she spent much of her early years as a competitive swimmer.
However, frequent injuries led her to discover Pilates as a form of rehabilitation, which became a transformative practice, helping her build strength while deepening her mind-body connection.
At the age of 20, Callan was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Pilates played an essential role in supporting her to stay active through a safe, low-impact approach to exercise. This experience not only reinforced her belief in the power of mindful movement but also inspired her to pursue a career in teaching.
She completed her BASI Comprehensive Pilates training in Cape Town, South Africa, and shortly after her in-person modules, relocated to London, where she now shares her passion with clients of all levels. Her teaching style is warm, supportive, and engaging, with a strong focus on helping individuals build strength, confidence, and body awareness to support their everyday lives.
Callan is also a recently qualified Barre instructor. She is bubbly and approachable, with a genuine passion for helping others. She strives to create a positive and inclusive environment in every session, bringing a light-hearted energy to her classes and proving that movement can be joyful, empowering, and accessible to all.
